Wednesday night it was a huge third quarter that pushed Peru to a victory. On Saturday, the Tigers waited one more quarter to explode, outscoring Logansport by 16 points in the final stanza and getting a come-from-behind 62-55 victory over the Berries at Tig-Arena.
It was Peru's second straight win over Logansport. The Tigers had lost five in a row to the Berries before last year's 44-39 win at the Berry Bowl.
Peru is 2-0 for the first time since the 1999-2000 season when it started 9-0.
